In the nightcap, Alberto Ortiz and Jack Sievers had three hits each. Devin Porter had two hits, including a home run and drove in two runs. Nic Anderson-Vine also had two hits.

Zach Hendrickson earned the win while combining with Brendan Roder for a four hitter. They fanned seven batters combined.

Sievers drove in three runs. Noguera and Albert Mora drove in two runs each.

Jarrett Blunt went all six innings, allowing four hits with one walk and seven strikeouts.

"We did a good job on the mound," Stein said. "Jarrett through a solid first game. Zach got us deep in the second game. Brendan came in and threw well in relief.

"Our pitchers threw a lot of strikes."
