The Iowa Central Men's Basketball Team took to the road for the first time in the 2017-2018 season and came up short at Marshalltown on Monday night by the score of 86-72. Marshalltown took a 9 point advantage into the locker built on it in the second half, "we just played way to fast than what we normally do. Credit to Marshalltown for speeding us up and getting us out of our rhythm. We turned the ball over way too much and our shot selection wasn't good either," Said Dennis Pilcher, Head Coach of Iowa Central. "Hopefully we can learn from this, work on it and get better as the season goes on."
Iowa Central is now 1-1 on the season and will continue on the road this weekend as they head to Norfolk, NE where they will play Central Community College of Columbus, NE on Friday, Nov. 10th at 4:00p.m. and the host school, Northeast Community College on Saturday, Nov. 11th at 6:00p.m.
