The women's team sent two representatives to compete over the 6k course. Freshman Jade Ford turned in a time of 24:00.0 which was good for a 39th place finish, and Freshman Stacey Fox placed 289th overall in a field of 324 athletes with a time of 30:37.5. "Both Jade and Stacey ran aggressive and poised races," remarked Ekel.  "Each of these runners bested their season opening 5k times from the Region XI Time Trial over 6k.  Their performance shows that consistent hard work will lead to success." Said Ekel.
