Tritons Continue To Run For Cancer

Since 2007, the Iowa Central cross country program has taken on the role of helping raise money to fight cancer.

The Tritons have designed and sold t-shirts every year since, raising over $23,600 including $2,300 in 2020 alone, for the Unity Point Trinity Cancer Center in Fort Dodge.

"Nothing beats giving back to our community," said Dee Brown, the Director of Cross Country at Iowa Central. "It is a tradition we look forward to each year."

Iowa Central will compete in two meets this coming Friday and Saturday. First, they will run at the Trent Smith Invitational in Mason City followed by an appearance at the Seminole Valley NAIA Stampede in Cedar Rapids.
