Terry Coleman enters his tenth year as the assistant rodeo coach at Iowa Central Community College. In addition to other duties, Coleman serves as the program’s Rough Stock coach. He works closely with Iowa Central’s Bareback, Saddle Bronc and Bull Riders.
Coleman came to Iowa Central in October of 2009, just a couple months after Lambright, and has been a vital part of the program’s success including the team men’s team appearances at the College National Finals Rodeo and two Great Plains Region Grand Reserve Championship teams.
Coleman graduated from Missouri Valley College in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. His rodeo accomplishments include qualifying for the College National Finals in the Bareback Riding, two-time qualifier for the Great Lakes Circuit Finals in the Bareback Riding, and a Regional Finals qualifier in the Bareback Riding in the NIRA.
In addition to his coaching duties, Coleman is Iowa Central’s Assistant Housing Director.
