Awards for Mathews, Malloy and Andersen

Three of our softball players have won some individual awards lately and have been recognized by the ICCAC and National Junior College Athletic Association.

 

Parker Mathews – Won ICCAC Conference Player of the Week for March 18-24th going 20-36 with 16 runs scored, 16 RBI's six doubles, a triple and two homeruns in 10 games.  One of her homeruns was a walk off in the bottom of the 7th to defeat Waubonsee CC 6-5.

Won ICCAC player of the week again for April 22nd – 28th going 13-19 for the week.  Included in that those 13 hits were a double and homerun.  She also had six RBI's and scored nine runs.

 

 

Kallie Malloy – Won ICCAC Conference Player of the Week for March 18th – 24th.  Kallie went 3-0 defeating ASA Miami, Florida 12-1, ranked St. Louis CC 7-0 and ranked Madison 8-0.  Her E.R.A. during the week was a microscopic 0.41 as she only gave up one run in 17 innings.

 

Cheyenne Andersen -  Won ICCAC Player of the Week and National Player of the week for NJCAA.  Cheyenne hit six homeruns during the week including her school breaking career mark of 31 for the season.  Cheyenne hit four homeruns in one game against NE Nebraska and two against #2 ranked DMACC.  Cheyenne also had 14 RBI's and scored 10 runs.
