Jared Beauchamp returns to Iowa Central as the head women’s soccer coach after one year as the head men’s soccer coach at Indian Hills Community College. Coach Beauchamp returns to Iowa Central after four seasons as the assistant men’s soccer coach to head coach Ben Taylor.
While at Indian Hills coach Beauchamp took a program that went 3-14 in 2014 to a program that went 6-12 overall and 5-9 in the tough ICCAC.
While an assistant at Iowa Central coach Beauchamp was part of many great seasons. That included a 14-win season in 2012, a year when Iowa Central was ranked in the top 20 nationally, and a 13-win campaign the following year. Iowa Central advanced to the Region 11 semifinals every year that Beauchamp was on the staff here.
Beauchamp, who hails from Marietta, Georgia, played four years of collegiate soccer at Francis Marion University in Florence, S.C. A defenseman, he was a key part of a Patriots' squad that won both the Peach Belt Conference regular season and postseason tournament titles in 2008, the first time that had been done in school history. Francis Marion also qualified for the NCAA Division II tournament in '08 and was ranked in the top 20 in the nation during the season.
While a student at Francis Marion, Beauchamp coached two seasons at South Florence HS and one year in the Florence Soccer Association. He graduated from FMU in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design.
Coach Beauchamp currently holds a national "D" coaching license, an NSCAA Goalkeeping License and an NSCAA Youth License.
