Tritons compete at Minnesota State and University of Nebraska
The Iowa Central Track and Field team enjoyed another busy weekend, with squads going to both the University of Nebraska Frank Sevigne Invite and the Minnesota State Mankato Ted Nelson Classic.
In Lincoln, 9 Tritons posted top 6 finishes as well as a top 3 finish by the Triton Women's 4 x 400 Relay team.  The Relay team of India McNeil, Marjanae Coley, Nelda Huggins, and Agnes Mansaray came in 3rd place with a time of 3:47.34, which is currently the fastest time in NJCAA this season.  Other top Tritons were Akeem Bradshaw with a 6th place finish in the Triple Jump (14.28m/  46-10.25ft), Nelda Huggins with a 5th place finish in the 60m Dash (7.50), Bryant Brown with a 5th place finish in the 60m Dash (6.87), Cary Lockhart with a 6thplace finish in the 60m dash (6.91), Phemelo Matlhabe with a 5th place finish in the 200m Dash (21.64), Agnes Mansaray, with an NJCAA leading time of 2:11.28 finished in 4th place in the 800m Run, Adva Cohen, who broke her school and NJCAA record with a 1 mile time of 4:42.44 came in 1st place, an astounding 13 seconds faster than the 2nd place finisher; Winrose Chesang finished 2nd in the 5000m Run (17:34.27), and Malik Beverly finished 2nd in the 60m Hurdles with a time of 7.83. 
About half of the Triton Track and Field team competed in Mankato on Saturday, with the Triton Women finishing in 6th place (33 points) and the Triton Men finishing in 3rd place (84.5 points) in the team standings.  Points scorers for the women were:
