Iowa Central Remains 11th Ahead Of ICCAC Return

The Iowa Central volleyball team will head to Cedar Rapids to face No. 19 Kirkwood this Wednesday night in a key ICCAC showdown.

The Tritons remained ranked 11th in the latest NJCAA Div. II poll after splitting action at the DMACC Tournament. Iowa Central fell to second-ranked Coffeyville, but rebounded with a win over Metrpolitan to improve to 23-3 on the season.

As reigning league champions, the Tritons are atop the conference once more with Northeast at 5-0. The Eagles are sixth at 2-3 in the conference and 18-9 overall.

Action begins at 6:30 p.m.

Iowa Central will return home this Friday and Saturday, hosting its own tournament inside Hodges Fieldhouse. They will play Central-Columbus and 18th-ranked North Dakota Science on Friday with No. 4 Cowley and Carl Sandburg set for Saturday.
