Alyssa Guarnaccia will be entering her third season with the Iowa Central Volleyball program as Assistant Coach and will also be working as a Housing Coordinator.  Before she joined the Tritons, Guarnaccia coached the University of the Incarnate Word Club team while receiving her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.  She led the cardinals to League Champions and was awarded Coach of the Year for the 2015-2016 season.

(2010-2012) Guarnaccia played at Muskegon Community College as the starting libero her freshman and sophomore year.  In the two years she attended MCC, she helped her team finish 2nd in conference, state and regionals (2010) and while captain, the team ranked 10th in the nation, 1st in conference, 3rd in state, and 2nd in regionals (2011).  Guarnaccia was awarded best defense both years and recorded over 1,000 digs in her career at MCC. 

(2012-2014) Guarnaccia is a 2014 graduate of Saint Joseph’s College (IN), where she played her junior and senior year as the starting libero for the Pumas.  While a Puma, she played 61 out of 62 matches, she was awarded player of the week and also she led the team in digs each season with 990 digs recorded in her career at SJC.

Guarnaccia is from St. Johns, MI.  She was a three sport athlete until her senior year where she decided to focus on Volleyball.  Captain of her team and starting libero, Guarnaccia helped her team to 1st in conference and 2nd in districts.  Guarnaccia was All-Conference her junior and senior year.
