Harrison Bowman one of two Tritons named NJCAA DII Baseball All Americans

Harrison Bowman, Iowa Central, Outfield, First Team

Iowa Central's outfielder Harrison Bowman became a First Team All-American after a stellar season.

Bowman hit .436 in 56 games played with 94 RBI which led the all of NJCAA Division II Baseball.

Bowman's 17 home runs marked him at 6th in the NJCAA standings and his .851 slugging percentage slotted him at 7th in the NJCAA. 

Defensively, Bowman had 74 chances in the outfield making just one error in the 2024 season.

 

Cooper Nicholson, Iowa Central, Infield, Second Team

Cooper Nicholson was the second Iowa Central player named to the All-American team for the Tritons in 2024.

Nicholson was named the ICCAC's Player of the Year following a great regular season.

The freshman from West Des Moines hit .364 with 20 home runs during the 2024 season. The 20 home runs ranked second in the country.

Nicholson also ranked in the top-10 in runs (76), sacrifice flies (7), and total bases (156).

The Tritons infielder also knocked in 67 RBI this season for the Iowa Central squad.
