Owen King enters his second year as the top assistant for the men's basketball program. In year one, King helped Iowa Central achieve new heights with reaching the programs' first ever final four, finishing the 2025-26 season 28-8. King helped coach five all region selections and two All-Americans in his first year. Prior to Iowa Central, King was an assistant at NCAA DII Winona State University. In the 2024-25 season, King helped the Warriors reach the NCAA DII National Tournament and advance to the round of 32. The Warriors reached the NCAA tournament for the first time since the 2013-14 season. King played collegiately at South Dakota State and Winona State. King graduated from Winona State in ‘23 with a degree in Elementary Education. Owen resides in Fort Dodge.
