Postseason awards for Triton Golf's Francis Lockwood
Following a 15th place finish at the NJCAA Championships in Plymouth, IN and ranked 7th in the country by Scoreboard Powered by Clippd, Francis Lockwood has been named an NJCAA DII Ping Second Team All-American, a member of the GCAA All-North Region team, and one of only five named to the GCAA All-Freshman Team.
"Francis had an amazing freshman season and was rewarded with his efforts by being named to the Golf Coaches Association of America second team All-American list," said Triton Golf Head Coach, Kris Graewin. "He is everything a coach dreams of having and I'm thrilled to have him join a prestigious group of former Tritons as All-Americans."
Francis finished his year with three wins (Iowa Central Fall Kickoff, Bruzzy's Spring Fling, NIACC Spring Invitational), six top-3 finishes, and a 72.6 scoring average with 29 rounds played.
Coach Graewin knows bigger things are ahead for Francis. "I'm excited to see how Francis continues to develop throughout the 2026-2027 season and am looking forward to him competing for a National Championship next May."
