Runner-Up Finishes for Triton Track & Field at Region 11 Outdoor Championships
The Iowa Central Tritons finished as runners up at the ICCAC Region 11 Outdoor Track and Field Championships with both the men's and women's squads. The men's competition was not decided until the final event, the 4x400 meter relay. The Tritons needed to finish ahead of Iowa Western to secure the overall team championship but fell just a bit short.

"We went into the weekend hoping we could bring home two regional titles again, like indoors. Our teams both fought hard but unfortunately it didn't happen. As individuals this group was amazing. Just like during the indoor season, we had new national qualifiers and additions to the Iowa Central Top Ten every weekend.
