Impressive Conference Opener Earns Ohlmeier ICCAC Athlete of the Week Honors

Trista Ohlmeier – Iowa Central – Freshman – Forward
After collecting her fourth double-double of the season, Trista Ohlmeier was named ICCAC Athlete of the Week. For Iowa Central this past week, Ohlmeier scored a season-high 32 points with 15 rebounds to secure a 69-68 win over Northeast. Her 10 points in the fourth quarter fueled a come-from-behind victory. In addition to her double-double, Ohlmeier added two assists and two blocks. With the Tritons sitting at 6-1 to start the year, Ohlmeier has impressed every step of the way, averaging the seventh-most rebounds per game in NJCAA Division II with 13.7.
