AMES - The Iowa Central wrestling team finally got their season going here Saturday, taking on NCAA Div. I powerhouse Iowa State.

The Cyclones captured wins in all 11 matches, earning a 50-0 dual victory. 

Couy Weil, Aidan Harris, Bret Minor, Amir Pierce, Nolan Miller-Johnston, Andrew Gamble, Keaton Geerts, Aiden Stratton, Jesus Gutierrez and Jorden Pryor were all on the mats for the Tritons. 

Harris, Gamble and Pryor went the distance with their opponents. 

In exhibition matches, Yoseph Yilma and Reese Hood were defeated.

Iowa Central returns to action on Thursday, Feb. 11 when they travel to Iowa Western for a dual.
