The USTFCCCA announced their Midwest Region award winners before the 2019 NJCAA Indoor National Track and Field Championships. Four Tritons were recognized for outstanding performances.

Coach Nigel Bigbee won both the USTFCCCA Midwest Region Men's and Women's Head Coach of the Year Award. Bigbee guided both Triton squads to their 14th consecutive Region XI titles this season.

Coach Jordan Burkholder was named the USTFCCCA Midwest Region Men's Assistant Coach of the Year. Burkholder's squad qualified two individuals in the shot put and six individuals in the weight throw to the national championships.

Lea Grady was named the Midwest Region Female Field Athlete of the Year. Grady finished the 2019 Indoor season ranked fourth in both the shot put and weight throw events.

Florance Uwajeneza was named the Midwest Region Female Track Athlete of the Year. Uwajeneza qualified for the national championships in the 800m, 1000m, mile, 3k and 5k events.

At the national championships she competed in the 5k, 3k, and mile.
