Hannah Connell blazed her way into the Iowa Central record books this past weekend.

And for her effort, the Triton standout has been named the NJCAA Track and Field Female Athlete of the Week.

Connell posted a personal best in the 100 hurdles at the Emporia State Relays, finishing first in 13.84. Her time ranks third in program history and first in the NJCAA for this season.

The Tritons return to action at the University of South Dakota Early Bird on Saturday.
