Triton Track & Field Sweeps Region 11 Indoor Championships
The Tritons competed at the 2026 NJCAA Indoor Region 11 Championships hosted by Buena Vista University. The men and women swept the team titles. The men have won 18 of the last 21 championships while the women have won 17 of the last 21 titles.

Coaches Corner
"We knew our men had a fair shot at winning the title so long as we executed everything correctly. On the other hand, we knew our women would really need to buckle down and hope the other teams didn't perform as well as expected. We ended up winning the women's title due to a disqualification in the last event (4x400 meter relay). This was not the way we wanted to get the win; however, in track and field there are many rules to be conscious of and we had a long meeting on Thursday going through many of these scenarios so as not to get jammed up."

"We had so many great individual performances in addition to a number of athletes that truly exemplified what a team player is. Robert Cooley and Abbigail Hutchinson are two of those individuals. Abbi scored 30 points across 3 running events and one field event. Robert scored 26 points in five events, technically 11 events since 10 of his points were in the 7-event heptathlon." - Director of Track and Field/Cross Country, Dee Brown
